Stress Management Benefits
Mindfulness meditation is proven to reduce
stress. One clinical study* showed that 80% of
those with high blood pressure who practiced
meditation not only reduced their blood
pressure, but also eventually decreased the need
for antihypertensive medication. Mindful in the Midst training helps you to reduce the effects of stress- in any situation.
How it Works
It is easy for the mind to get carried away by distraction and stress. Mindfulness is a practice to return the mind from distraction, to strengthen the mind’s ability to focus on the present. It is a form of mental fitness, training the ‘muscles’ of the mind to relax, to synchronize the mind and body with the present situation. Through training, mindfulness can be practiced wherever you are – walking, driving, sitting in a chair, engaged in conversation –in the midst of your life.
